Thai Salad

Recipe Name: Thai Salad

  • Servings: 4

    Ingredients:**
    • 1 bag pre-chopped cabbage and carrot blend
    • 1 red bell pepper sliced thinly
    • bundle of cilantro chopped finely to garnish
    • 1 cup chopped unsalted peanuts
    • 3/4 cup olive oil
    • 1-2 limes squeezed depending how much juice they give
    • 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
    • 1 tbsp agave
  • Instructions:

    • Kids Prep: With kid safe knife, older kids can assist with sliced red bell pepper after its been chopped in half and seeded. Kids always have funw with dressings. Use a citrus squeezer to get lime juice. Allow them to help with measuring and whisking dressing. Use salad tongs to toss the salad.
    • Adult Prep: Supervise every step from chopping cilantro and bell pepper to measuring and whisking sauce.
  • Wine Pairing: Dry Riesling

  • Notes: Great with simple asian flavored flank steak marinated in soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and lime.
