Flank Steak with Chimichurri

Recipe Name: Flank Steak with Chimichurri

  • prep time: 20 minutes; need food processor or blender
  • cook time: Grill steak for roughly 15 minutes
  • Servings: 4

    Ingredients:**
    • 2 cups italian parsley or cilantro
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar or 2 tbsp lemon or lime
    • 1/3 cup olive oil (enough to coat florets)
    • sea salt
    • flank steak seasoned with sea salt, turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, chili powder, oregano and cracked pepper
  • Instructions:

    • Kids Prep: Kiddos can help put all ingredients into food processor and pulse. They can also help season flank steak
    • Adult Prep: Assist kid with putting all ingredients above in food processor. Pulse until ingredients are fine. Once steak has been seasoned, grill on high heat or in cast iron skillet for 5-7 minutes each side.
  • Wine Pairing: Chilean Pinot Noir or Argentinean Malbec

  • Notes: If you dont have blender or food processor, mince all ingredients for chimichurri finely.
